The Los Angeles Black Underwater Explorers is a dive club designed to provide "something for everyone" in the exciting and unbelievable world of SCUBA diving. Supported by more than 100 members, LABUE has found success by offering a spectrum of dive opportunities broad enough to satisfy the wide range of skill levels and dive interests of our membership.

Men and women alike are sharing the benefits of safely participating in a great sport with a great group of people. Reduced prices for gear and local boat dives, travel to exotic, warm water locales, and an array of enjoyable social and networking activities are just a few of the many benefits LABUE has to offer.

Since its restructuring in 1997, LABUE has rapidly developed into a first class organization and was recently recognized as "The Club of the Year" by the National Association of Black Scuba Divers (NABS).
